Please research for yourselves before listening to this guy. He’s an economic illiterate, or possibly a liar. He’s got too much to lose by blaiming this on anything other than what he mistakenly calls capitalism.

the issue about risk is what nassim Taleb is banging on about- the uncertainty and lack of ability to predict the future from looking at past events- his example of this is a great one- the europeans thought there was only white swans in the world- for thousands of years all they saw is white swans so they took it as a given that there were ONLY white swans! Not till they came to Australia and saw a black swan was that belief overturned- the economy has worked this way for a long time- continue

OK. Family meeting folks, need to cut cost, for starters bare bone essentials only, canceling all insurance policies (frauds anyway) walk away from credit cards (Fico: huge fraud), walk and bye bye underwater mortgage. Hey,.it’s just a pragmatic family business decision. Got the idea from too big to fail banks, I hear they are really good at it. Start me a family weed garden, shop local, pop me a cool one and,..Oh well Fuck it!

So, I click on to this vid and what do I see. Michael GOODMAN advertising the real news network.(they never miss a chance, do they?) Not a good start. This is followed by a prototype jew (they stick out a mile, don´t they) Paul JAY, and then this “professor” CHOMPME baboon, and they are going to discuss, surprise surprise, the ecomomy.

Social Security on it’s own is fine. The issue is that the government looks at Social Security as another cash box to be raided. Also, our issues with health care costs are more of a problem than social security. If health care is covered, social security can be sufficient to live on, or at the very least provide a nice supplement to retirement income.

He isn’t a policitan of any kind, I don’t think his aim is to step in and fix things, he is an intellectual and does his job that way… Your the half with, we need more people like him denouncing abuses of gvts, etc.. .
People are already massively under the influence of propaganda, it is nice to have someone who actually makes sense in his reasoning, you would know this if you read his work, You offer no solution either lol.

Ah yes I am uninformed to think that social security which according to the congressional budget office will be $10 billion in the red in 2010, is in bad shape. Honestly it pains me to argue with people like you who live in a fantasy world were government can do no wrong. I for one have had enough of endless wars and endless spending by the government. Chomsky is a half-wit who offers no real solutions. If you had an actual understanding of economics and politics you’d understand.

look at China inprisoning people 12years for critisising the goverment. Look at Iran shooting people who want democrasy. Denmark jails people for telling the goverment was lying about threat in Irak”and documenting it”.
